Pat Korten is a veteran of more than 40 years as a communications professional in Washington, D.C. His experience includes positions as a broadcast journalist, public affairs director at two federal government agencies, vice president for communications at a major think tank and at a public interest law firm, and senior vice president at one of the largest fraternal benefit societies in the world. He served as deputy vice president and chief spokesman for the nation's leading pharmaceutical trade association, and spent a decade providing crisis and risk communications services to a variety of Fortune 500 corporations and federal agencies.
He is a long-time member of the National Press Club, a member of the Philadelphia Society (the premier association of American conservative intellectuals) and a member of the board of the Washington-based Education and Research Institute, where he was a lecturer at ERI's National Journalism Center for several decades. He is also a member of the American Catholic Historical Association.
